Greetings and Welcome!
On behalf of myself and the members of Zeta Delta Zeta Chapter, I extend to you all warm greetings and a heartfelt welcome! It is a great honor to lead and serve as the Chapter's President, and we are excited and ready to make an even bigger impact within the Burlington County area. We expect that the future will continue to be filled with sisterly love and action-oriented service and that we constantly remain a leading service organization. Zeta Delta Zeta Chapter pledges to continue being a light in our community, while exemplifying our sorority's four principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood. |
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 16,
1920. Through the vision of five Black female students, who were some of the top students at Howard, an
organization was built that is now over 100,000 strong. Our beloved organization emerged during a time
where the Klan was extremely active, the entire country was affected by The Great Depression, and the
Harlem Renaissance was providing an avenue for Black artists and poets to share their work….for this we
are extremely proud and grateful!
Since 1959, the women of Zeta Delta Zeta chapter continue to serve Burlington County through our Z-
HOPE initiative (Zetas Helping Other People Excel) by providing community service, scholarship awards
and other programming specific to our communities. For over 60 years, we have been instrumental
leaders nationally, regionally, statewide and locally through implementing our international programmatic
thrusts: Stork's Nest, Prematurity Awareness, International Women of Color, Adopt-A-School, Domestic
Violence, Autism Awareness and Elder Care. Along with YOUR continued support, we are honored to
have the support and are proud of our collaboration with the March of Dimes, American Cancer Society
and other nationally recognized charitable organizations.
